EMS Career Personnel are assigned to a 12-hour rotating shift. These personnel are the primary responders to all ambulance calls within the Ambulance Service Area as well as the primary personnel to respond and conduct Inter-facility Transfers from Mid-Columbia Medical Center to other regional hospitals in the Portland/Vancouver area, Central Oregon, and Central Washington. These personnel also assist the Training Division with providing EMS Training to other personnel and the public.
