Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue is now accepting applications for the position of Entry Level Firefighter.

MCFR is a progressive fire district serving The Dalles and surrounding communities in the Columbia River Gorge. Our members respond to approximately 4,000 emergency calls annually and provide fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, wildfire response, and marine operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Provide documentation of firefighter academy completion
• Hold, or be eligible to obtain, Oregon EMT or Paramedic licensure by hire date
