Firefighter/Paramedic  --  New Listing as of February 23, 2021

Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue is currently building an eligibility list for Firefighter/ Paramedic with Two (2) immediate openings. These positions are regular full-time and are not grant funded. This position requires a valid FireTEAM and a valid CPAT. The list for this position is open and continuous. As vacancies can occur at any time, the request for a list of candidates to consider can occur at any time or without notice.

The District requires the candidate Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ). You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account on the National Testing Network webiste. The PHQ must be completed by the closing date or you may not be considered further in the process.

 

Candidates must upload to National Testing Network:

·         A scanned copy of their National/Oregon Paramedic License

·        NFPA Firefighter 1 Certification

·        MCFR application

  • Shift Personnel are represented by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 1308. Shift Personnel work a 24 hour shift and the shift rotation is commonly known as the Modified Detroit Schedule.  The pattern is 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 96 off and repeat.

Fire Shift Captain - Paramedic (closed)

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue is recruiting for Fire Captain - Paramedic (Shift Commander); This is a Represented Position under the Collective Bargaining Agreement with IAFF Local 1308.

Office Manager - Full Time (9/1/2020 - POSITION FILLED)

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue is recruiting for an Office Manager; Full-Time (40 hours/week. M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm with some evening meetings). This is an Overtime Exempt Position.
